Single dial up connection - the most basic and slowest of connections which enables a single PC to access the internet via a modem, either to 'surf the web' or send and receive e-mail.  This connection is usually made over a normal analogue telephone line.

ISDN Connection - Faster than an analogue line ISDN connections can offer a shared connection with the use of a router.  Fixed fee accounts are available which are based on a fixed number of hours usage per month.

Broadband (ADSL) - this connection offers a cost effective solution for all businesses and home workers.  An 'always on' connection which offers connection speeds far greater than ISDN for a fixed monthly fee - no time restrictions and no call charges.  Broadband connections can be shared either via a PC or a router.
